Palo Alto’s Playbook: Platformization, Identity and the Rise of AI in Recruiting

How to combat GenAI-driven threats
- Ensure data hygiene. Train models on curated, auditable data and put controls around access to sensitive datasets.
- Apply real-time inspection. You must be able to inspect and classify AI-driven requests as they traverse networks and services.
- Automate response. When you detect suspicious agent behavior, automated playbooks reduce mean time to remediation.
- Wrap identity around agents. Agentic AI needs credentials and guardrails — identity is the mechanism to manage and constrain agents.

If traffic multiplies, inspection requirements multiply too. The edge will increasingly include machine agents, sensors, vehicles and industrial rigs, not just humans.
